  2. Leapfrog added ratings on Informed Consent within that couple of years. While there is not a direct category requiring/recommending electronic consents, I do believe we can improve grades for our clients. • By making the consent a digital one, we could deliver it to the patient IN ADVANCE of meeting with the doctor, providing more time for them to think of questions. Have a way to turn the dynamic consent form the patient will sign into a read only copy to avoid have to create a second version of the form that gets sent in advance.

  3. Improve the display of Nova on mobile devices.

    Encounters List: Action buttons in upper right overlap

    General:
    Width of columns not adjustable:
    Not all info within a column is viewable.
    Not all columns are viewable so often the action items (ellipsis) is hidden so the user has to know to scroll all the way to the right to get to them.

    If selecting ellipsis for an item toward bottom of a page, the box with options to select sometimes opens off the page and is inaccessible. In Forms Library, this box would include options for Version History, Fill Out, Assign…

  4. Often patients need a form after a visit, like a satisfaction survey, mental health questionnaire, or financial assistance application. We can manually send forms to patients at an time, but adding automatization around sending forms to patients at any time would be helpful, as well.

  5. Add a bullet list of forms to be completed on the introduction screen for remote forms. After I confirm my identity, I would like to see what forms I need to do, in an order assigned by the health system, along with a description (or instructions) for each form.

  6. Twice in the last 3 months we have run into opportunities related to referrals to different types of care in Canada. One is tied to an RFP in Ontario and one is tied to a previous RFP in BC tied to Fraser Health. WE have these RFPs to share but cannot attach files here. Andrew believes there will continue to be these RFPs in the coming year. The Nova Platform has many of the elements needed to address but definitely some Dev work related to scheduling and other features

    We can help ensure the doctors involved in the procedure are listed on the consents.
    Pull in from an HL7 message or give a space on the consent form to include this information.

  8. Royal Victoria in Ontario is looking for a Patient engagement tool that includes delivery, completion and storage of forms. One of the capabilities they would like to see if an easy way for patients to complete tasks including form completion using voice. Whether this is speech supplied by the PE vendor or leveraging existing speech tech is open for consideration

  9. We have a client looking to see if we can ingest orders from meditech and complete a standardized lab requisition form from the Province so they have a paper copy they can give to the patient as well?

    It would need to pre-populate with the provider and patient's demographic info as well as all info entered in the lab orders selected, mostly likely passed through an HL7 message from Meditech to populate the form.

    Could be used for any EHR once the dev is done on one EHR platform. We would likely need to specify the lab orders themselves or…

  10. Now that Nova can ingest third party forms (pdfs, faxes, etc.) clients in Canada have a need for a solution to manage inbound faxes/referrrals/orders and send them into their EHR scheduling queues for management by the scheduling team.

    Most every health system in Canada has long wait lists for things like CT, MRI, Specialist Referrals, etc. so these inbound referrals/faxes/orders typically go into a queue to be triaged and scheduled by the scheduling team at the hospital.

    We would need to extract the patient data from the fax if possible to allow for proper patient matching and potentially encounter/visit creation…

  11. Clients are looking for the ability to update patient locations when in a downtime situation. They'd like to have that location info flow back to their EMR when the downtime is over as well.

    Additionally, during the downtime they would like a bed-board type view of their facilities that allows them to easily update just the bed location. Ideally they would be able to pick either the entire hospital or individual units to view what patients are where.

  12. City of Hope uses Interlace Health for forms creation in a number of areas. However they use Epic Consents for procedural consents. There may be a 3rd set of forms created by another tool. COH would like any "forms management" module we create to be able to provide some level of tracking (form name, tool used to create it, most recent version/date) for all their forms regardless of where it was created.

  14. Maybe to help with the “teach back method” we can put “quiz questions” on the consent for the patient to answer that relate to the Px. Probably something AI could help with, like look through the Px details from the data set and ask the patient, very simple questions like, is this a benefit of the Px (and the answer is always yes).

  15. All of the Canadian hospitals have this need and we can extend Nova to allow the hospital staff to fill out a standardized form in Nova and then Nova can send the ORU to the Lab with all the order information entered in the form included in the ORU message.
    Nova can receive the lab results, which is the Order form, as a fax and extract the accession number or allow the staff to manually enter the accession number in the Submittal Queue. Then Nova would send an ORU to the EHR with the accession number and the Order form…

  16. For Remote Patient Intake, we should look at what effort would be needed to integrate with Eligibility and Pre-authorization with-in our system. For a more detailed use case, look to how Phreesia offers this capability. InstaMed who we are working with in Payment Processing. Ron should have access to their tools/interfaces for that.

  17. Meditech allows searching for patient/encounter records based on the format of the data entered in their search control. If the search starts with 2 or 3 characters, then the system knows to search on the account number. If 6 digits are entered, then the system searches by DOB, and so on.
    Would like the new Nova solution to allow the same method of searching without having to specifically specify what data element the user wants to search by.

  18. In Web Form Imprint it would be great if we could set a threshold, which would be different for each customer, to prompt users if they are sure they want to print x documents.

    We have at least one person every day that tries to print hundreds to thousands of forms. In our case we would set it to 18 and if someone selected the entire site it would prompt "are you sure you want to print 651 Forms?" This would greatly save on paper and our helpdesk trying to kill print jobs.

    Interlace Health will be developing a solution to address this request in our new SaaS offering called "Nova." The solution will address the use case where the form originates from an external Provider and is submitted to Nova. In addition, the solution will provide a mechanism for Nova to send a link to an external Provider, given them access to the appropriate forms in Nova to complete.

  20. Images for insurance cards, wounds, ID, etc need to be attached to a visit or encounter and then archived to the EMR.
