MFP Printer App for Downtime / Offline
Lexmark and other MFP Printer manufacturers allow developers to create Apps for their devices.
We can create an MFP Printer App for Lexmark printers that could hold a copy of our PDFs. In an Offline/Downtime event, those PDFs could be selected (with the number of copies) and printed directly from the printer.

Verifiable Digital Signatures
Nova Forms should support Verifiable Digital Signatures.
eIDAS governs the EU and specifies three levels of electronic signature:
1. SES - Simple Electronic Signature (what we do)
2. AES - Advanced Electronic Signature
a. Signer can be uniquely identified
b. Signer has sole control over their signature creation
c. Provides data tampering detection
3. QES - Qualified Electronic Signature
a. Likely out of scope for us, technically... involving QTSP and QSCD.This could come into play when selling to other countries.

Generic App Integration with Nova
Today, Nova only integrates with EHRs through its UHI (Universal Healthcare Interface). However, this is limited only to a sub-set of the healthcare market. Some EHRs, like Meditech, charge the customer 5k per External Connector configuration which is what is required to integrate with Nova. Some applications, like those in Home Health, have no integration capabilities and are built to be ran offline.
The solution is to build a native "Nova App".

Today, the Nova product leverages a lot of Javascript as seen in the Workflow engine, Interface Engine, and Functions builder. In the future it will likely expand to Smart on FHIR data mapping transformations. Javascript is extremely powerful but has three drawbacks:
- It can be daunting for non-developers
- It can be tricky, if not dangerous, to run it as part of a server side event (think automated printing)
- It can be challenging to secure

Elsa Add Forms activity
Add the ability to add Form Packets to Encounters in Elsa via the Add Forms activity. These packets are created under Admin - Forms Organization Setup. This would greatly reduce IC time and effort when creating workflows and assigning forms in many situations.

Warning message before clearing signatures
I suggest adding a warning message that appears when the 'Clear Signatures' button is pressed in case it is pressed on accident. Something along the lines of 'Are you sure you want to clear all signatures?' then the option to click 'Yes' or 'No'.

I would like to be able to configure what columns are visible on the Form Management Form and Layer tabs. I want to be able to add any form/layer metadata field, i.e., PDF file Name, document Type, Form ID, etc. This will greatly improve the IC ability to maintain the form list and metadata settings. Elsa 3.2 Form Event Trigger - Delete case Enhancement
If you create a form event processor workflow, the Delete case is never triggered. This is NOT a project issue currently, but if it should work, it should work. I just noticed it when testing Elsa 32 workflows I am creating.

Elsa 3.x Troubleshooting Enhancement
We need a new column added to the Elsa 3 Instances view. We need the account number added to allow effective troubleshooting.
urgency - without this ICs will need to know the date/time and patient account number to find a workflow instance to troubleshoot. customers will have the account number, but rarely have a precise date/time.
this is not a showstopper but will greatly reduce troubleshooting time and stress.

Reduce Readmission Risk with AI follow-ups after discharge
Create an AI that follows up with patients after discharge to reduce risk of readmission. About 15% of patients are readmitted within 30 days of a discharge, and there are comorbidities that can greatly increase this risk for curtain patients. It is very costly to readmit patients, and CMS does not like it.

Post Care Remote Forms : PROM Surveys
I noticed a healthcare tech vendor advertising they can boost PROM scores, and wonder if we should pursue such as well.
NOVA's tooling that is used for RPI could also be adapted to provide post-care or discharge solution. Much of the tech to do so is already done in NOVA. Its similar to RPI but in reverse order.
This could be remote forms that request the patient fill out surveys like PROM (patent response outcome measurements).
